Garden of Giving

My name is Beth and I repurpose glass for a purpose. I shop at charity-based thrift stores for various glass plates, dishes, bowls, candle holders and whatever I feel will contribute to my ‘garden flowers’. I drill the center of the glass pieces then select a variety of them to assemble together to ‘grow’ into my garden flower. Growing my garden flower involves gluing the selected glass pieces together then creating a ‘stem’ by drilling, flattening and bending a spoon. I attach the spoon stem with a bolt through my flower creation. The fully grown repurposed glass garden flower can be ‘planted’ on the copper stem that I designed from copper piping and tubing, no water required. The flower can also be displayed inside on a decorative plate holder.

The entire purchase price of a BettyAnn’s Garden Flower will be donated to a non-profit charity of my choice. I have the unique opportunity as a Johnson & Johnson retiree to submit the donation amount to their non-profit matching gift program. Voila !!!! Double donation.

I live in Spring House, PA. If you are local to my area and would like to plant one of my garden flowers in your garden please reach out to me for the flower of your choice.
